Science Classes and Requirements

You must complete 30 units (3 years) of laboratory science classes with a grade of C- or higher to graduate from Mission High School.


To be eligible for UC admission, you must complete 30 units of laboratory science with a grade of B- or higher.


The following laboratory science classes are offered at Mission High School

  • Chemistry

The following science elective classes are offered at Mission High School

  • AP Environmental Science
  • Biotechnology

Mission High School Science Department

Here at Mission High School, we want all our students to be able to learn and explore possible future careers in science or science related technology. Each of our courses offered will help the students in understanding the basics of science, how it works and how it can be applied to everyday life through labs and assignments.
